We combine clinical expertise from national reference centers for various cancers* with a fundamental and translational research cluster of international visibility.

Benefiting from a site for integrated research in oncology, we developed a privileged environment for cancer care in Lyon.

In the last decades, cancer research was revolutionized by the advent of cutting-edge technologies, allowing precise analysis of tumors at the level of subtypes and single cells.

Competitive scientific projects include a wide range of experiments involving highly specialized technologies and expertise. Moreover, peer-reviewed scientific journals and partners (academic or biotech companies) increasingly require professional-standards and traceability of samples and results.

To support these stringent requirements, we developed a large panel of platforms encompassing all of these criteria.

Our goal is to establish collaboration to address scientific issues/challenges by:

• Designing protocols involving one or several platforms
• Developing the best and adequate approach to meet the needs of research projects
• Performing experiments with qualified staff
• Conducting a close follow-up of the different steps of scientific projects
• Interpretation of results
• Joint application for national or international grants.

From the results of research, our expert physicians can design and conduct early phase clinical trials in our early phase units.
